Women leaders combat food insecurity at Oregon Food Bank

The Portland Business Journal’s BizWomen Coalition recently gathered at the Oregon Food Bank to address food insecurity and give back to the community in an event hosted by Providence Health Plan. Focused on health, safety, and hunger relief, the group highlighted the critical role of nutritious food in education and public health outcomes.
The Oregon Food Bank plays a vital role in fighting hunger, distributing nearly 110 million pounds of food annually across the state. The event emphasized the importance of raising awareness, particularly among women leaders who can drive change within their organizations.
