Providence Health Plan Recognized as a U.S. News & World Report 2026 Best Insurance Company

Providence Health Plan has been named a 2026 Best Insurance Company for Medicare Advantage in Oregon and Washington by U.S. News & World Report, the global authority in health care rankings and consumer advice.

This recognition places Providence Health Plan among a select group of Medicare Advantage providers nationwide. Fewer than one-third of all Medicare Advantage insurers across the country received this distinction.

This recognition underscores Providence Health Plan’s commitment to supporting seniors with high-quality, reliable Medicare Advantage coverage. We remain dedicated to improving access to care, promoting early intervention, and supporting the health and well-being of members.

According to U.S. News, companies selected for the Best Insurance Companies for Medicare Advantage list are evaluated using more than 30 quality measures published by the federal Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). These measures reflect a comprehensive view of plan performance and quality of care.

For the 2026 rankings, U.S. News analyzed CMS data and quality results for each insurance company’s Medicare Advantage plans for the 2026 calendar year. With expert guidance, U.S. News selected a set of quality measures and assigned weights based on their relevance to consumers. Plans with larger senior enrollment were given greater influence on the overall results.
