When you think of nurses, you might picture someone in scrubs checking vitals or comforting patients in a hospital. But did you know nurses also work behind the scenes to make sure your health plan runs smoothly?

At Providence Health Plan, nurses take on many important roles that help make sure you get the right care at the right time, keep costs affordable for everyone, and improve the quality of your healthcare experience.

Let’s look a little deeper into some of these amazing nurses who work differently but share the same goal: making healthcare better for you.

Big-Picture Nurses

Senior Manager Quality RN

These nurse leaders are like healthcare detectives. They look at numbers and reports to find ways to improve care, work with doctors and hospitals to make sure they meet quality standards and help decide what services your health plan should focus on!

Senior Manager Care RN

Think of them as care coordinators for the whole plan. The Senior Manager Care nurse creates systems to help people with ongoing health needs and make sure different parts of your care work together smoothly. They also spend time training other nurses to provide the best support.

Quality Check Nurses

Manager Quality RN

These nurses make sure Providence Health Plan keeps its promises by checking if members get important health screenings, finding areas where care can be better, and reporting results to make sure we continue to meet and exceed national standards!

Manager Care Management RN

Care Management nurses are like air traffic controllers for healthcare. They managing teams that help members navigate the system, all the while making sure care is effective but not wasteful. They also work to connect different parts of the healthcare network to make care easier for members. 

Day-to-Day Problem Solvers

Supervisor Care Management RN

These nurses keep things running smoothly by overseeing teams that approve treatments and procedures, helping members with complex health needs, and training staff to provide compassionate service.

Utilization Review RN

Our Utilization Review nurses review requests for special treatments or hospital stays, checking that claims match the care given, and helping members transition from hospital to home.
